About us

The Rowan Arts Project aims to make the arts more accessible to communities and to promote the arts as a means of regeneration.

What we do

The Rowan Arts Project promotes the arts as a means for communities to come together and regenerate themselves. We do this by working with local organisations and groups to plan and put on year-round arts projects and activities with regular larger scale events that give the wider community a chance to come together both as performers and as audience. The arts give individuals and communities unique opportunities to develop and access is greatly enhanced when they take place in community settings - in parks, schools, community centres and libraries.
We also work with groups and organisations to help them devise, plan and raise funds for projects which we can manage for them.

For more information about our work see our latest Annual Report or visit the Rowan Arts Project Blog.
